Andy Follin (CMT)

Andy first came across Estill Voice Training whilst studying as an operatic tenor in the late 1990s. Although fascinated by this approach to vocal teaching, he didn’t pursue his interest until he discovered the shortfalls of his own classical training when working with students in music theatre repertoire.

He now teaches both classical and music theatre students, and has placed pupils at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and Guildford School of Acting.

Having ‘bridged the gap’ himself, Andy especially enjoys working with post-graduate classical singers who are looking to move into different genres.

He teaches in performing arts institutions and in his private studio in the North West of England. He is also Creative Director for Stint Productions, a company that allows students from deprived backgrounds to work in a professional theatre setting alongside experienced performers and crew.
