Caroline Hurst (CMT)![]() Caroline is a lecturer in singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and in Performing Arts at Stow College in Glasgow. She began her professional career as a teacher and performer whilst studying at the RSAMD, where she attained BA Musical Studies (Hons) and MMus (Advanced Opera). She has performed professionally in opera, concerts, drama and musical theatre and is still active in the profession where her teaching schedule allows. Credits include Miss Jessel Turn of the Screw, Gretel Hansel and Gretel, Dorabella Cosi Fan Tutte, Wicked Witch of the West/Miss Gulch The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella’s Stepmother Into The Woods, Anna Anna Weiss, Landlady Two and The Vagina Monologues. Caroline was a Buxton Festival company member for six years, performing solo recitals, covering lead roles and appearing as a soloist in masses broadcast on BBC Radio.
