![]() Matthew Reeve![]() Matthew is a voice consultant working with both the singing and spoken voice. He works professionally as a musical director, arranger and composer. He read music as an undergraduate and postgraduate at Kings College London. Matthew has taught extensively in the Further and Higher Education sector and in many professional drama training academies. He consults for various performing arts institutions and speech and language therapy groups across the United Kingdom. He is Senior Voice Tutor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Matthew has taught courses and presented on the voice and singing in the United Kingdom, Europe and America. He has a special interest in phonetics, vocal function and pedagogy, and maintains a successful private studio. His students work across the performing industry and have appeared as principals in West End shows including Les Misérables, Hairsray, Sunset Boulevard, The Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express, Fame and We Will Rock You. Matthew was personally granted his Masters Licensure by Jo Estill in 2003. The principles of Estill Voice Training lie at the heart of his teaching. From 2007-2011 Matthew was an active member of the Estill Voice International Certification Advisory Board and International Symposium Committees. With Klaus Moller, he has been at the forefront of certifying new Estill teachers in Europe, with the Reeve & Moller Certification Pathway™. Matthew is a Director of Voicesource Limited, a retail and publishing company that distributes vocal products and specialist voice texts.
