CERTIFICATION | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
Certificate of Figure ProficiencyEstill International awards the Certificate of Figure Proficiency to anyone who can demonstrate competency in performing Figures for Voice™ and the six voice qualities taught in Level One and Level Two. The examination involves demonstrating a basic set of voice control tests that are analysed and observed by a Certified Course Instructor with Testing Privileges using Estill Voiceprint software. Studying for the Certificate is ideal for performers who want to hone their vocal skills after attending Level One and Level Two. Initial ConsultationDuring your initial consultation Klaus or Matthew will work with you to establish your current level of competency and devise a personal action plan. We will help you to use the Estill Voiceprint software, answer any questions you have on the content of the CFP examination, and work on your technique for practicing Figures for Voice™ and the six voice qualities. You will need to have access to a computer running the Estill Voiceprint software so you can practice Figures for Voice™ and the six voice qualities. Certificate of Figure Proficiency ExaminationIf you decide to take the CFP examination there are no further requirements. We may suggest at the initial consultation that you should consider having additional consultations to help you prepare for the examination or repeat Level One and Level Two again, however, this is not obligatory. When you feel ready to take the examination you simply need to arrange a date for the examination, which normally takes two hours. Please note there is no guarantee of success, if you need to repeat any part of the testing then you can simply organise a private consultation with either Klaus or Matthew or, if appropriate, repeat the examination again. Private ConsultationsPrivate consultations and mentoring sessions can be arranged with Klaus or Matthew at any time. You can work on Figures for Voice™ or the six voice qualities. There is no obligation that you attend any fixed number of sessions – this depends on how you work best and what you want to achieve. Let us know as soon as possible should you wish to book a consultation as our calendars tend to fill up quickly. For distance learners we can also review you progress via email. The Estill Voiceprint software has functionality that allows you to save your Voiceprint recordings as ‘.wav’ files. By arrangement you can email these to us and we can give you instruction and advice by return of email.
